The museum, which explores the life and times of John Dillinger and other gangsters during the 1930s depression era, as well as the advancements in crime fighting technology, will allow all visitors entrance with a Museum Day Live! ticket.

Inside the museum, visitors will follow the life of John Dillinger from his birth until his demise. Visitors will also see era-related toys, trinkets and clothing as well as a car Dillinger preferred for escapes. Numerous televisions feature videos typical to the time period. Museum attendees can also experience both sides of the law from inside the jail cell or inside the booking station in the crime lab.

Tickets are available at http://www.smithsonianmag.com/museumday/ticket/. While the website states only two people will be admitted per ticket, the Indiana Welcome Center will not limit the amount of entrants per ticket. Additionally, those unable to print the ticket will still be able to enter the museum free of charge.

Also located inside the Indiana Welcome Center, the photography exhibit, Horizons, will be on display for its last day on Sept. 29. Horizons explores images from northwest Indiana taken by local photographers.

Paris Hilton’s publicist is trying to do damage control after audio of the heiress making derogatory comments about gay people was posted online.

While riding in a New York City cab last week, Hilton and an openly gay friend were talking about the smart phone app Grindr, which allows gay men to meet and hook up.

“Ew, ew,” Hilton says, when told about Grindr. “Gay guys are the horniest people in the world,” she continues. “They’re disgusting. Dude, most of them probably have AIDS … I would be so scared if I was a gay guy. You’ll like, die of AIDS.”

The cab driver recorded the conversation, which RadarOnline obtained and posted today.

Monica Lewinsky’s book deal: $12 million is a lot of money, and yet we still feel bad for her.

Monica Lewinsky, the former White House intern whose affair with then-President Bill Clinton paralyzed the nation, has been shopping a memoir for several weeks, and according to the New York Post, has apparently sold it for $12 million to an unnamed publisher. I suppose I could be disappointed that we’re still so trash-obsessed that Lewinsky, who already cooperated with celebrity gossip-monger Andrew Morton for a 1999 book called Monica’s Storycan command an advance that knocks at the door of the $15 million one Clinton himself pulled down for his autobiography, My Life. I could be depressed for a publishing industry that has so few ideas that it’s going back to the same old well. But mostly, I feel bad for Monica Lewinsky.
